Retail Sales Associate

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as a Retail Sales Associate for TevyHive LLC, located in San Diego, CA. 

  • The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for greeting customers, providing product knowledge, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of products requirements
  • Actively listen and engage with customers to assess their needs and recommend the most fitting product(s)
  • Process sale transaction. 
  • Must be thorough and precise to ensure accuracy when assisting with shipping and receiving merchandise
  • Maintain organized floor
  • Attach hang tags and barcodes
  • Ensuring entire store (retail floor, fitting rooms, back rooms, restrooms, warehouse, etc.) are kept clean, safe, and functional
  • Administrative duties
  • Take product pictures, event picture, model pictures etc
  • Iron/Steam iron clothes 
  • Throw trash to shared trash space
  • Light alteration by hand sewing of clothes
  • Change clothes in Maniquence
  • Help in live sessions
  • Inventory count, unpacking, packing, shipping 
  • Share in-store promotions and new arrivals
  • Cross-sell and Up-sell products: Proactively identify and recommend complementary products, offer customers higher-end or more feature-rich products, and personalize product recommendations based on customer purchase history and interests to increase their purchase value and spend
  • Assist in creating and execute visually stunning and engaging displays that capture customer attention and drive sales
  • Assist in maintaining inventory to ensure products are in stock
  • Process sales transactions with engagement, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Occasionally, sell/showcase products at events/tradeshows to attract new customers/leads. Coordinate the logistical aspects of the events including planning the layout of booths for the event, setting up tent, hauling products for sale, setting up the table and ensuring that tent set up, banners, lighting, rigging, and electrical infrastructure meet the needs of vendors and other show participants.

Job Type: Part-time

  • Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 

  • 30 – 32 per week

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift 25-40 lbs., and work on ladders.

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role as a E-commerce Model located in San Diego, CA.
As an E-commerce Model, you will be responsible for showcasing our products in a visually appealing and engaging manner for our e-commerce platform. You will collaborate closely with our creative team to produce high-quality imagery and videos that highlight the features and benefits of our products. Your role is pivotal in enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers and driving sales.


1. Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and requirements for product photography and videography.
2. Pose or demonstrate products effectively to showcase their features, fit, and functionality.
3. Ensure that all images and videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across the platform.
4. Work with photographers, stylists, and makeup artists to achieve the desired look for each product shoot.
5. Continuously research industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of visuals and stay ahead of competitors.
6. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for creative content and campaigns.
7. Attend fittings and rehearsals as needed to prepare for shoots involving apparel or accessories.
8. Maintain a positive and professional attitude on set, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
9. Assist with post-production tasks such as selecting the best shots, retouching images, and editing videos.
10. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure that deadlines are met and projects are executed efficiently.


1. Previous experience as a model or in a related field such as fashion, advertising, or e-commerce.
2. Strong posing skills and the ability to convey emotion and attitude through body language.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction and feedback well.
4. Knowledge of photography and lighting techniques is a plus.
5. Understanding of current fashion trends and the ability to adapt your look to suit different styles.
6. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
7. A portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating your modeling skills and versatility.
8. Passion for fashion, beauty, and visual storytelling.
